The founder of TK Maths Academy, Tariq Khan, is a highly qualified, successful and experienced Mathematics Teacher, Head of Department/Faculty, Senior Leader, Trainer and Senior Examiner/Associate. With over 20 years experience within multiple and diverse schools across the United Kingdom including eight as a Head of Department and six as a Senior Leader, Tariq blends his excitement for Mathematics with research-informed and practical strategies to Teach and Learn Mathematics.
As a Pearson Edexcel approved Subject Specialist for Mathematics, Tariq delivers CPD/training to centres and delegates, particularly for GCSE and A Level Mathematics qualifications. As a Senior Associate for all major examination boards, Tariq has in-depth knowledge of how to maximise marks and address common misconceptions/errors students make, enabling students to demonstrate their knowledge when it matters.
Tariq has delivered INSET, workshops and assemblies to audiences all over the UK. Tariq’s sessions have been praised for being engaging, funny, relatable and practicable as he draws from years of real experiences inside and outside of the classroom.
