One-to-One Tuition
One-to-One Tuition is ideal for students that need to improve their confidence with maths and require rapid improvements.
The sessions are intense and therefore once students feel confident, usually transition to one of the Group Lessons, if or when the time is right for them.
Lessons are charged at £40/hour (GCSE) and £50/hour (A Level)
Group Lessons
Group Lessons are ideal for students that need to improve social interaction and want to experience vibrant and lively discussions. Group lessons offer a stimulating learning environment that deepen students' understanding through in-depth discussions. Group lessons also offer students the opportunity to expand their social group and develop study buddies, helping them make more progress outside of the classroom setting.
Lessons are 90 minutes and charged at £15 (GCSE)
(Saturdays only)

At only £24/month with at least 8 lessons/month, this is the most cost-effective option to get high quality tuition for your child
Lessons are online, interactive and focussed on building the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed at at all age groups up to and including GCSE/iGCSE.
Lessons take place Sundays at 9am and 7pm with more lessons added as subscribers increase.
Additional lessons during exam periods including revision resources, predicted papers and exam walkthroughs

Lessons and Specialities
I offer a range of lesson types to suit each individual and circumstance.
I assess and address the misconceptions that are hindering my students' development so that they have a firm foundation enabling them to be highly competent when learning the more challenging content later. I avoid teaching "shortcuts" or "tricks" as they only lead to short-term gains and place a major barrier to learning further along.
I know how to teach and tutor my students to excel through personalised attention, patience, practice, and most importantly, teaching the concepts and knowledge correctly.
Tariq's ability to quickly build rapport and get the essential principles across in a simple, understandable method has been integral in my son's improvement and his confidence has really benefitted

About Tariq Khan
I am a UK qualified teacher specialising in mathematics. I have been teaching in secondary schools for over 16 years, have been Head of Maths and Senior Leader for 10 years and am a GCSE and A Level Examiner.
I became a tutor because friends and family wanted a reliable teacher to improve their child's understanding and enjoyment of maths. Through encountering many students and witnessing their wasted potential, I decided to begin tutoring so that more students that needed the support would have a high quality, positive experience of maths with great results.
